How to install 64-bit version windows 8 in a laptop... that has 32-bit windows7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you laptop doesn't support 64-bit then you can't install a 64-bit system on it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it all depends on the laptop whether it supports the 64-bit version or not

I agree with TLOU,it depends on the laptop ! And if it supports 64-bit architecture, you could use Virtual Box to install your OS,without having to resize your partitions, and this way you can keep Windows 7 installed as well ! Another solution would be a dual boot configuration !
