Two rods of mass 2 kg and length 1m each are jointed together and the system is jointed and suspended vertically. A ball mass 100 g and moving with horizontal speed 20 m/s hits the lower rod at the point 20 cm above the lower end. The coefficient of restitution of the impact is 0.8. Duration of impact is 0.1 s. Calculate all reactions at the joints and all the accelerations of the two rods.(angular and linear) See graph below.
