Suggestion: a way to favourite questions.
Whenever I'm on OpenStudy, I'm usually at school and use a different computer everyday. There are certain questions/ tutorials that I would like to bookmark and use at a later date, such as the LaTeX tutorial and others. So it would be awesome if I could favourite questions :D
Not a bad idea, imo. We'll see what some of the others say.
OS used to have a "Good Question" button, however it has been removed. I thought it was a great proponent. @mattfeury explained its removal in an earlier question. Anyhoo, if this is completely different from your suggestion, I apologize. Bookmarking a question would be a wonderful tool. There has been one too many questions I wish I could look over and review.
Good Idea :)
Yeah, @Lime the "Good Question" button only gave a medal to the asker, it didn't give an easy way to return to the question at a later date. \(\huge{ಥ‿ಥ}\)
For the time being, you can bookmark the question in your browser
If you had read my explanation, it says "Whenever I'm on OpenStudy, I'm usually at school and use a different computer everyday." So I can't bookmark them in my browser.
Can you use an online bookmarking service?
@barrycarter Like what? I've never heard of anything like that. Also some (most) web pages are blocked on my school's network.
Oh, I thought that's what de.li.cio.us (or whatever) and other sites like that did. Let you share your bookmarks which also means you have a copy for yourself
I thought of this as an idea as well. It would be a great way to index questions for future reference if implemented properly.
I will vote for yes too.
I would have to agree, I think the ability to favorite questions would be nice.
I think it should be set up in a way where the favorite questions are indexed and easily accessible.
