dont see it as history or civics subject... see it as music or some other form of art. to appreciate anything in math you need to feel it

It's difficult because math is dual-complex as it is both a science and a language. It is both a concrete component and abstract component. It has both an intuitive and calculative aspect.

Just trying to explain why math is so difficult. You have to understand that math is the most fundamental aspect of nature and creation. Fundamental to all the sciences. Fundamental to technology. The mathematical component allows for construction, symmetry, logic and progression. But at its very core, mathematics is simply a language to be learned. And as with any language, some people will get it and some won't.
