So I have just joined Intro Computer Science and I am abit confused and need some help in understanding this program. How do I go about learning each unit, do I need to watch the videos first? how do I send my questions. I really enjoy programming and just need some pointers. Thanks.

read the readings associated with the lectures and practice any examples given in the readings. watch the lectures - have the lecture code snippets in a file while you watch the lecture so you can play with them. do the problem sets. ask questions here. search the internet to expand your understanding of the topics discussed. remember that it is not strictly a programming class - they are trying to teach computer science concepts. read the Tutorial in the Python documentation (over and over again). use the Python documentation to fine tune your understanding of the language. Their are lots of great Python rsources on the net. here are a couple http://python.net/~goodger/projects/pycon/2007/idiomatic/handout.html the Beginners Guide and Beginners Errors links at the Python wiki - http://wiki.python.org/moin/ http://effbot.org/
