for slope intercept form, would y=0x+3 be correct or is it some rare case...?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

You can write y=0x+3 as y = 3 This is the horizontal line that passes through 3 on the y-axis

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it says to write it in slope intercept form, but would y=3 still be fine??

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

yes I would think so since it's the most simplified you can get

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

its implicitly in the form y = mx+b where m = 0 and b = 3

ok thanks so much!! hahaha lol im in geometry now, and i totally forgot algebra... FML

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

you're welcome, that's ok it was a silly mistake
