Explain what is wrong with the sentence: His motorcycle hit a parked car, but it wasn't damaged.
i have other sentences that need revision (supposedly)
I love Michigan beacause you see so many different kinds of clouds in the sky.
maybe a nicer way to write it is, "His motorcycle hit a parked car, but it didn't get damaged"
but i need to say what is wrong with the original sentence not just revise it
I love Michigan because you see so many different kinds of clouds in the sky. <--inconsistent subjects. you used I and then you. You should stick to just using "I" i.e. I love Michigan because I see so many different kinds of clouds in the sky. <--inconsistent subjects.
i'll think about that motorcycle thing
THX!
one more too
i don't see any grammar errors in the first sentence o.O are you sure something is supposed to be wrong?
I saw the whole parade sitting on the library steps.
misplaced modifier
yea the directions say briefly explain what is wrong with each of these sentences.
your sentence makes it sound like the parade is sitting on the library steps
but how would i say that haha
do you mean how to change it?
nvrmd haha but thank you soooo much
now if i could just get the motorcylce one...
maybe it's a misplaced modifier too?
the only thing i can guess is saying it? idk
because you dont know if the car was damaged or the motorcycle
yeah that
you sure...?
well like i said, that's the only thing i see wrong. Grammar is correct. Just the modifier
ok well thank you!
