how to write essay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

5 paragraphs. Intro- Explaining what your essay is about. 3 body- Using facts and details to support the intro and make an essay. Conclusion- Wrapping up your 3 paragraphs into a few sentences...Restating the main point, pretty much.

Just to add to your answer sniffles :) .. For each (body) paragraph put the first sentence as presenting one idea (topic sentence), the second as explaining that idea, third, give an example that supports that idea then a concluding sentence to wrap it all up. Before you start it is a good idea to brainstorm you ideas of that topic then from the brainstorm write out an outline of "what you are going to write" - it makes it much easier in the long run.

An essay is just one collection of ideas, facts and opinions. It is preferable to start an essay with a famous quote of a well-known person. You have to make sure that there is a factor in your essay which engages the listener. The person who listens is the most important. Feed him with knowledge in such a way that he enjoys it. Make it a target that your essay is appreciated well. Also, do not underestimate yourself if you do not get a round of applause in the beginning or in the end. There was once a band which went to a school and they played hard rock. In the end, when they didn't receive an applause, they hated it. Later, that band learned that those people were physically disabled. They liked the music very much! For the format, I have something: ``` Intro... intro... baby: quotes, sayings, WHY you are concerned with the topic, and then write what it is.(This is very important. You must start with WHY[1] A cup of humoUr: Say things that are light-hearted and get all the attention towards you. If the essay is about global warming, then say—"People don't know how to heat food, but they are pretty good at heating the Earth." Let's get serious, darling: Talk about the topic in detail, adding one-liners in between as well. Oh no... it's over: end your essay with a conclusion, and then remind the audience of the quote you mentioned in the beginning. Say "Thank you" and run off the podium. ```
