(x + 7)/ (25x^2 − 49) ÷ (x^2 + 11x + 28)/ (5x^2 + 23x − 42)

OpenStudy (noelgreco):

Factor the difference of squares in the denominator.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i know that but i cant figure it out

OpenStudy (noelgreco):

The numerator should be "5x+7", I didn't see that. You can do partial fractions if you're working on calculus, otherwise, I's assume it's a mistake.

im lost completely on the factoring

OpenStudy (noelgreco):

Sorry, I didn't see the division sign on its own line. See if this helps. From top to bottom, the lines factor as follows: 1. Factored 2. (5x-7)(5x+7) 3. (x+7)(x+4) 4. (5x-7)(x+6)

OpenStudy (noelgreco):

Does that help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got it thanks
