RNAi involves the cleavage of dsRNA into small fragments and the recruitment of RISC; while Antisense RNA is the mere inhibition of translation by complementary pairing

thnx for the reply. bt in rna i also the cleavage of dsrna guided by risc complex would lead to hybridization with complimentary mrna in the cell, hennce inhibiting translation.
