find two consecutive even integers such that the smaller added to four times the larger number gives a sum of 38

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

let the first integer be x the next consecutive even integer would be x + 2 smaller added to four times the larger is x + 4(x+2) it says that is 38 so... x + 4(x+2) = 38 do you know how to solve for x there?
