if i told you the difference of two cubes formula is \[\Large a^3 - b^3 \implies (a - b)(a^2 + ab + b^2)\] will that help?

I now remember what I forgot to do... thank you, lgbasallote. I forgot to turn the 8 into a 2^3.. I should be able to figure it out now... let me see
