ANS: Above Rated Speed Speed, N α Back EMF(Eb)/Flux(Φ) So as we adjust the field rheostat & decrease the resistance ,field current decrease,then field flux(Φ) decreases.Hence as per the speed equation, SPEED INCREASES.
