Price of company stock would be an interval level and could also be a ratio level because it has a true zero...correct?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

correct, the company must go broke for it to go to zero though, lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would we in that case say it's a ratio level, without the interval level. I mean to say its a ratio level would be sufficient.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well, u use ratio when u r COMPARING it with the stock price of another company

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm not sure if we're referring to a comparison of different stocks. The question in my book refers to "a robotic company" and it asks for the "Price of company's stock". would that change the level to interval?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

as u said, it can be both

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok we'll go with that then LOL

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks
