Take a minute to refresh your memory a bit on what you just learned. • Constructing congruent triangles is used in the building of tall structures, roofs, and bridges and in creating anything that uses triangles in its creation, like hang gliders. •Congruent triangles may be constructed by hand using a compass and straightedge. •Congruent triangles may also be constructed using computer technology such as GeoGebra. •You were shown how to construct these triangles based on the Side-Side-Side and Side-Angle-Side postulates

Okay... And what does this mean? It's not telling me to do anything...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i don't know how to do this work

OpenStudy (anonymous):

does it say anything else?

mmm let me see

here There are six problems for this assessment. •Problems 1 and 2: Construct congruent triangles using a compass and straightedge on your own paper. ◦Construct one triangle using SAS. ◦Construct one triangle using SSS. Because you are making constructions, your compass and straightedge images should show the arcs you used to create the construction. Do not erase these markings. This is how you "show your work" with constructions! To send the congruent triangles you constructed by hand, you can scan your construction, take a picture of it, or use any other format that will work for you. Then make sure you paste the picture in a document file and send that to your teacher. •Problems 3 and 4: Construct congruent triangles using computer technology. ◦Construct one triangle using SAS. ◦Construct one triangle using SSS. To send the congruent triangles from GeoGebra, go to the "File" menu at the top of the screen. Then select "Export" and "Graphics View to Clipboard." Paste this picture in your document file. You may also use another drawing program, but it must be copied and pasted into a document file to send to your teacher. •Problem 5: Choose one of the triangles from problems one through four and explain, using complete sentences, how a congruent triangle was constructed using both a compass and straightedge and with computer technology. •Problem 6: Choose one of the triangles from problems one through four and explain, using complete sentences, why the given triangle is congruent to the triangle you constructed. Please turn in to your instructor: ■Original and copied triangles using SAS and SSS with a compass ■Original and copied triangles using SAS and SSS with GeoGebra ■Answers to question 5 for BOTH compass and GeoGebra constructions ■ Answer to question 6

Okay...this is for FLVS. In your geometry class, there are live elluminate sessions, am I correct? The teacher in the session will tell and show you EXACTLY how to construct both SAS and SSS triangles with a compass and straight edge *and* with GeoGebra. That live session will help you better than anyone here in open study can, trust me. I did the session and all I have to do is answer the last two questions which are easy. It tells you directly in the lesson the answers to the last two questions. So, I advise you to go to your geometry announcement page and find when they are doing live sessions for assignment 3.03 that you can attend. (; I hope I helped. ♥
