I give medals plz!!!? Pablo rolled a standard die 48 times. He got a 1 two times. How does this result compare to the expected results? Plz Explain.

OpenStudy (oaktree):

OK. So, if it was a normal die, then you would expect each result to come up 1/6 of the time.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A standard die is equally likely to land on any of its sides, so on average you would expect to land on 1 about 1/6 of the time (in this case, 8 times).

lol i was about to respond

OpenStudy (oaktree):

So, a 1 would come up 1/6 of 48, or 8 times. Same with all of the other results. So, even though you expect a 1 eight times, it only came up twice.
