well you can make an equation out of this..
let x=#of nights
and y=the fee
so because the movie costs 0.5 a night that can be the coefficient of x and 2 can be the constant
so y=0.5x+2

so now sub in 5 for y...
5=0.5x+2
then solve for x
0.5x=3
x=6
