ABC overnight package service will deliver a package on the next day to anywhere in the country for $14.00 up to 1lb., $25.00 up to 2 lbs., and $3.00 for each additional pound up to 10lbs. How much would it cost to send 7 1/2 lb. package?

$25.00 + $3.00(5.5 lbs)
$25.00 + 16.50 = $41.50 which is the cost of sending 7.5 lbs
