would sulfur be found in an environment with igneous, metamorphic, or sedimentary rocks?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I assume you mean elemental sulfur, not sulfur bound with other elements in minerals. In this case, igneous or sedimentary. It is produced in the high-temperature reducing conditions of volcanic eruptions, and is also produced by anaerobic bacteria feeding off of sulfide compounds like H2S in underwater muds.
