I need to find the conversion factor. the problem is 1.39*10^6km/(?)=1inch. So, 1.39*10^6km divided by what equals one inch?? I'm not looking for a quick answer just tell me how to do it!

I've found out how many inches are in that many km but it doesnt equal one when you divide it

it does equal 1 but only on one side of the equation:
39370.1 inch = 1km

divide both sides by 39370.1 in. or by 1 km
1= 1km/39370.1in.
or
39370.1in./1km=1
