2(x+5)>8x-8 show how to do it please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2x + 2 x 5 > 8x -8 2x + 10 > 8x - 8 2x - 10 > 8x - 8 - 10 (what u do to one side do to the other) 2x > 8x - 18 I dint really think you can simplify further

OpenStudy (anonymous):

there has to be because i have to graph it as an inequality and i got the same thing and tried to simplify it down more but it came out all werid

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2x + 2 x 5 > 8x -8 2x + 10 > 8x - 8 2x - 10 > 8x - 8 - 10 (what u do to one side do to the other) 2x > 8x - 18 18-2x > 8x 15x > 8x i belive something like that i know you subtracted 18 from both sides
