Dear OS Mods, I just came up with a grand idea! Instead of just being able to post a pic of ourselves in our profiles could post videos of ourselves? Please advise, Thanks :)

That's pretty much impossible. I've seen other websites with a lot more resources that haven't been able to do this.

In my opinion, OpenStudy is not a social site to some extent. Adding videos may be done by sharing them in chat, messages, or your profile description.

Photo albums, video functionality, and all can be managed by sharing links of third-party sites. Does that help?

The Mods made a post about it on a different post saying that it would take over their notifications if people tagged them in this group. They will see your post when they see it. :P

So, I don't see us implementing video uploading on the site. Animated gifs like the ones you've been linking to are a possibility, but they do have an impact on page performance, so that's something we'll have to consider when we're talking about it.
