OpenStudy (honeymonster):

please help..rearrange this formula so m is the subject..i=mv-mu

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

take m out : i = m(v - u) now divide both sides by (v-u) and you have it

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

can you do this

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

its similar to i = m* 3 to find m i divide both sides by 3: i / 3 = m - only instead of 3 you've got (v-u)

OpenStudy (honeymonster):

so..this??? \[m=\frac{ 1 }{ v-u }\]

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

yes - but isn't i not 1?

OpenStudy (honeymonster):

thats what i meant..i ..sorryy thank you very much :)

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

yw

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

the rules applying to equations is same for rearranging formulas

OpenStudy (honeymonster):

ok..thank you for your help :)

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

ok
