Nick follows a rule to deposit money into his savings account each month. The past 4 months, he deposited 6, ten , fourteen , and eighteen dollars. His sister determines that each deposit is increased by 6, so his next deposit should be eighteen plus six equals twenty-four dollars . What error did she make? What should his next deposit be? Explain your answer.

The jump from 6 to 10 is an increase of 4, not 6.
So each deposit is increased by 4
