I want to design a small device that will have 8 LEDs as output representing 8-bits binary values. This device will be hocked on the PC via USB. There will be a program on the PC. It will ask a user to enter a number. For instance if you enter 25. The binary representation of 25 is 00011001, so from the right LED 1,4 and 5 with be ON, the rest OFF. What hardware will I need to build this and I wanted to use C++ to do the coding. Advice please?!
