explain why a triangle cannot be right and equilateral at the same time?

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

an equilateral triangle is automatically equiangular triangle. an equiangular triangle has ALL angles equal to 60 does that help?

hartnn (hartnn):

A right angle triangle must have a 90 degree angle whereas an equilateral triangle has all angles as 60 degrees.

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

right angle requires one of the angles to be 90 degrees btw. so it violates the equiangular rule

Thanks :)
