Question

AP Human Question: What mathematical location does meridian help measure?

If you need additional info, that's doable, but if you can just help me on the fly then that would be awesome. :) I've looked through the textboox around where it mentions meridian but there is nothing that suggests itself as the answer, and if it's implied then I can't catch their drift because the textbook is too confusing :/

It does mention longitude (I don't think that's it) the prime meridian (I think is an answer to another question) and also parallel and latitude. No other specific things. Anything I should look for in the middle of the text?

I think it might be Longitude because it is the only one that makes remotely any sense so thanks for trying to help :)

Latitude and Longitude lines are an example of absolute location.
Location is one of the 5 themes of geography.
the other type of location is relative, but here we deal with absolute.

Latitude Lines (parllels) and Longitude Lines (Meridians)
Longitude starts at 0 degrees or the Prime Meridian
it goes 180 degrees west and 180 degrees east.
Latitude starts at 0 degrees or the equator, where the earth is at its widest. There are 90 degrees north of the equator and 90 degrees south.
