Under 'Adiabatic magnetization': The increasing external magnetic field (+H) causes the magnetic dipoles of the atoms to align, thereby decreasing the material's magnetic entropy and heat capacity. Why the heat capacity?

As why would heat have less of an effect on increasing the temperature of a thing if all of its little dipoles are aligned? Is it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Temperature#Kinetic_theory_of_gases as there are less degrees of freedom for the particles?
