Use the given x-values to graph the function. Then graph its inverse. Describe the domain and range of the inverse function. f(x) = 5x; x = -2, -1, 0, 1, 1.5

So can you graph the function first using those points?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hint: The graph is linear so just plot the points and connect them with a straight line.

how wud i find the points?

It gives you the x co-ordinates in the question, so first draw a graph with f(x) on the vertical axis and x on the horizontal axis. To find the f(x) co-ordinates just put the x values into f(x)=5x and see what you get. For example, with x=-2 we get f(-2)=-10, so the co-ordinate for that point will be (-2,-10). Are you able to do this bit?

How are you getting on with that?
