Im investigationg shadow functions. I have that y1= ax^2+bx+c. Now it is reflected at its vertex, ym, to give y2. How do i express y2 in y1 and ym??? HELPPPP

Take as an example, a>0, then it is a parabola that opens upward, so its reflection will be a parabola with all the same features (magnitude of a the same, same vertex, etc.) except that it opens downward. Try completing the square to put it into vertex form and find the reflections.
