OpenStudy (anonymous):

this one is kinda confusing for me:(

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

see CDF plane as, CDFE plane

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

what points or lines do the planes ACE and CDF have in common?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

they both intercept?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

yes they intersect, how so?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol idk how so. but i looked at the picture and noticed they inersected:)

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

thats all is needed :)

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

think of plane ACE and plane CDF as pieces of wood (like a wall and a door), the part where they intersect is the hinge, which is the line CE

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

and remember two planes intersect in exactly one line

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

so the intersection of the two planes is the line CE

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanyou very much guys!

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
