Write the equation of the line which passes through (5, –2) and is parallel to x = 4. I really need to find out the steps on how to do this in all the examples they only showed how to solve: write the equation of a line passing though the point (-1, 4) and parallel to the line y=-3x+2 in slope-intercept form. I know how to do that, but I am completely lost with the x=4 part.

do you know how to plot x = 4? What is it's slope?
