OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

the following are requirements for aerobic wastewater treatment except: A. pH B. oxygen C. nutrients D. carbon dioxide

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

mind helping out on this one again @nincompoop ?

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

yes. i read somewhere that oxygen is required. however, it's asking what's NOT a requirement

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

so i suppose it will be CO2 since it's the end product?

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

yeahhh

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What is pH...... is it a unit?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So, i dont think it is required

OpenStudy (anonymous):

pH is power of Hydrogen..

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

unfortunately we can't "try"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think pH is required to measure the acidity of water

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

water isnt acid....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

CO2 is not required

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes pure water isnt acid nor base

OpenStudy (anonymous):

pH is used to measure the compounds for their Acidic and Basic behaviour. Water is neutral having pH of 7..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But impure water may be acidic or basic so we need to measure its pH value

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

so why oxygen and not nutrients?

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

i meant CO2

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

why co2 instead of nutrients

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oxygen and nutrients are required for the treatment of impure water

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Where all have gone suddenly ??

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

that...actually makes sense
