A riding lawnmower can drive up a 27 degree incline. In order for a ramp design to reach a truck bed that is 3 ft high above the ground to have a 27 degree incline, how long should the ramp be?

\[\tan 27 = \frac{ 3 }{ x }\] x= 3/tan27=3/0.509=5.89=5.9
