OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (barrycarter):

wow, it's not. Nice problem!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah, i tired it out earlier and got: 47.05

OpenStudy (barrycarter):

How did you get that?

OpenStudy (ghazi):

it is done :)

OpenStudy (ghazi):

can you do it @oholmes ?

OpenStudy (ghazi):

(3.9)^2=(3.62)^2+x^2 x^2=15.36-13.10 x^2=2.26 x=1.50 now area of one triangle = 0.5*1.50*3.62= 2.715 and there are 16 triangles therefore area of octagon=16*2.715=43.44 @oholmes clear??
