You are on an airplane traveling 30° south of due west at 150.0 m/s with respect to the air. The air is moving with a speed 36.0 m/s with respect to the ground due north. 1) What is the speed of the plane with respect to the ground? I found 134.8 m/s 2) What is the heading of the plane with respect to the ground? (Let 0° represent due north, 90° represents due easth). ?? ° East of due North

I got 135.6, but the difference is just a rounding error. Take the 129.9 due east vector, the net 39 due south vector and add to get the heading.
