There are five (5) classifications for angles.

In order of measure (that is, the size of the opening in degrees) the angles from smallest to largest are:

1. Acute angle - an acute angle is greater than 0 degrees but less than 90 degrees.

2. Right angle - a right angle is exactly 90 degrees.

3. Obtuse angle - an obtuse angle is greater than 90 degrees but less than 180 degrees.

4. Straight angle - a straight angle is exactly 180 degrees.

5. Reflex angle - a reflex angle is greater than 180 degrees but less than 360 degrees.
