\[\frac{ x+1 }{ 2 }=\frac{ 2x }{ 5 }\]

cross multiply \[\implies 5(x+1) = 2(2x)\] multiply... \[\implies 5x + 5 = 4x\] do you know how to solve for x now?

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):
