a^2(a+2)+2(a+2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[a*a*(a+2)+2*(a+2)\]

im needing to find the trinomial factorization

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's really not trinomial, you're overcomplicating- treat a^2 as a single variable, call it x or whatever, so your question becomes\[x(a+2)+2(a+2)\]Where you COULD factor out the (a+2) to get\[(a+2)(x+2)\], but that's unnecessarily complicated

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes factor or (a+2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks! but wouldn't the final answer be (a^2+2)(a+2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(a^2+2)(a+2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok
