@hartnn
hartnn (hartnn):
Construct VA and VN.

yes I have multiple choice 22 isnt an answer
hartnn (hartnn):
oops,56 ?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
yes
hartnn (hartnn):
so di u Construct VA and VN.
then angle AVN = ??
OpenStudy (anonymous):
i got 46

!!
measure of arc is what it subtends at center .
so angle AVN=112 degrees ok?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
okay.
hartnn (hartnn):
now VAS = 90 degree
u know why ??
OpenStudy (anonymous):
its a 90 degree angle
hartnn (hartnn):
its not given, its because line AS is tangent to circle.
so now,VAS=VAN+NAS
can u find NAS ?

hartnn (hartnn):
how did u find VAN ?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
74-18=56
1/2(56)=28 degrees?
hartnn (hartnn):
in Triangle VAN,let angle VAN=x
sum of all angles=180
so 112+x+x=180
from this x=VAN=34
ok?
so VAS=VAN+NAS gives
90=34+NAS+gives NAS=56
ok?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
is the answer 28?

for <GET?
hartnn (hartnn):
nopes,its 56.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
ok
hartnn (hartnn):
can u find arc GI?
hartnn (hartnn):
GI=360-74-112-32-18=124 degrees
so arc IT=124+18=142 degrees
so angle INT=142/2=71 degrees
as arc subtends half the angle at point on circle.
similarly,arc NG=112+18+32=162
so angle GIN=162/2=81
in triangle EIN,
angle GIN+INT+GET=180
so GET=180-71-81=??
