OpenStudy (erinweeks):

@jim_thompson5910 could you help again :/

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

Do you know how to find Q1 and Q3?

OpenStudy (erinweeks):

yea kind of you have to like put the numbers in order

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

yes that's if you're given a list of numbers what about with box and whisker plots?

OpenStudy (erinweeks):

No i dont !

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

See on team A how there's a very long whisker on the left side the value of Q1 is where the "box" starts on the left side, so Q1 = 31

OpenStudy (erinweeks):

okay yea i see tthat

OpenStudy (erinweeks):

than team b Q1 = 29

OpenStudy (anonymous):

IQR of team A IS 3, and IQR of team B is 7. From this information, it is clear that team B has more consistent times

OpenStudy (erinweeks):

its not b though i got b wrong !
