In terms of source resistance , how does the ideal voltage source differ from the practical voltage source?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A practical voltage holds the voltage across it nearly constant & ideal current produce a fixed current, regardless of the voltage.

@verona98 an ideal voltage source has zero source resistance whereas a practical voltage source such as a battery has some value of source resistance.
