find the distance between (-3,7)(3,-2). simplify the radical answer if possible. can someone show me the steps on doing this?

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

distance is \[\huge \sqrt{(x_2 - x_1)^2 + (y_2 - y_1)^2}\] so if you substitute you get... \[\huge \implies \sqrt{[3 - (-3) ]^2 + (-2 - 7)^2}\] does that help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes that helps a lot. thank you

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

welcome
