In an attempt to escape from a tower, I created some wings for myself and my son by tying feathers together, using thread and wax. I warned my son not to fly too close to the sun because the heat would melt the wax. But would he listen? No. He flew very high, the sun softened the wax that held the feathers together, and so they came off. My son fell into the sea. Though extremely sad, I flew on to land safely. I later built a temple to Apollo and hung up what was left of my son’s wings as an offering to the god. Who are we? A. Eurydice and Orpheus B. Persephone and Demeter C. Daedalus and Icarus
this sounds like the story of icarus
icarus is the child who had some wings to escape from some prison
Yes, and i really am not understanding anything in here. :/
but his wings burned when he went too near to the sun
So C?
you can actually deduce eurydice and orpheus are lovers...so are persephone and demeter...these are names of man and woman...and the story is a bout a father and a son so yes it's C
Thankyou!:)
