varies directly means if it (m) increases so will p
k is the constant of proportionalty.
p=km^3 says all of that.

The second statement fails to say how it varies, directly or inversely so I am assuming "directly"    y = kbc, in other words when k b or c increases, y increases and vice versa.

Please delete the k in the last sentence.  k is a constant.
