I need some serious help with these. Translate into an equation: p varies directly with m cubed. A. p=k/m^3 B. p=k^3/m C. p = k^3m D. p = km^3 Translate into an equation: y varies jointly with b and c. A. y=bc/k B. y=kb/c C. y=k/bc D. y=kbc

theirs two questions with choices, sorry it looks all bunched together.

OpenStudy (radar):

m cubed is m^3 varies directly means if it (m) increases so will p k is the constant of proportionalty. p=km^3 says all of that.

OpenStudy (radar):

The second statement fails to say how it varies, directly or inversely so I am assuming "directly" y = kbc, in other words when k b or c increases, y increases and vice versa.

Please delete the k in the last sentence. k is a constant.
