I would say it equals 14. The side opposite the 83 with the tic mark is equal to the other side with one tic mark (thats what they mean, both sides are equal). In order for both sides to be equal, the angles opposite them must be equal. So, that central angle equals 83. From geometry, we know that the angle on the other side of that intersection must be 83. Opposite that angle is a line with 2 tic marks. The two sides with two tic marks are equal and must hav ethe same angle. This means you know two angles of the three in the left triangle, leaving only the third. So, it can be found by 180-83-83 = 14 Want me to draw it out?
