Write a brief explanation of what a census is and the importance of Census data.

I am pretty sure a census is where you fill out a peice of paper that the government sends you and you state where you live and who and how many people live in your household. then the government can see pretty much how many people are on earth right now. It is important so the government and president knows how many people live right now and where they live so they can locate everyone and their current home. im sorry that took forever to type :/
