supplement of that is 180 -(90 - x)

twice of that is 2[180 - (90 - x)]

36 degrees less than that is

2[180 - (90 - x)] - 36 <--this is the value of the supplement of the angle...this is what we're looking for

\[\implies 180 + 2x - 36\]
