the intercepts are where the line crosses the y axis and the x axis

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so its b?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@sparki1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no wait its c

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think its the second graph. the equation to put in the calculator is y= (-5/3)x +5. do you see how i go thte equaation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah i see but i mean like look at where the y and x lines are... so i think it would be c?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya its b. cause it crosses the x axis at (3,0)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@helder_edwin do you know if its c or b? Your the only smart one online lol

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

wow nice @helder_edwin

OpenStudy (helder_edwin):

That's not true. there's plenty of smart people here. i might be one of the oldest. that i agree with :)

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

i don't know if my word is as good as helder's for you @jessicasapimp but it's C because your x-ntercept is (3,0) and the y-intercept is (0,5). and C is the one that has those intercepts. here's how to calculate the intercepts.. x-intercept 5x + 3y = 15 set y to 0 5x = 15 solve for x x = 3 so x intercept is (3,0) y-intercept is set x to 0 3y = 15 solve for y y = 5 so y intercept is (0,5)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but for c x doesnt equal 3. thats how i see it cause the line is past the 4.

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

dont you mean for b*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

HAHAHAH my bad. its C. sorry! answet is C. you guys were all right

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

wait...what's the difference between A and C?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok idk the second graph is the corredct one. idk whats going on. the grpahs kee changing. look at the the y. thats prolly the difference

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

nahh they're similar.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol they lok the same to me! maybe she put it up twice

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

well any ways..it's 3.png

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

the answer's either 1.png or 3.png because they look very similar
