4(x-6)- (3x+2)= -5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4x - 24 - 3x +2 = -5 distributed and add like terms

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x - 22 = -5 added the two numbers (-24 and 2 together)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x = 17 I added 22 on the left and right side to make x alone

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank u i like the format u explained it to me

OpenStudy (helder_edwin):

\[ \large 4(x-6)-(3x+2)=-5 \] \[ \large 4x-24-3x-2=-5 \] \[ \large x-26=-5 \] \[ \large x=26-5=21 \]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no problem :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

helder is that a different answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):
